I’m a registered occupational therapist, psychotherapist based in Toronto. I completed my graduate training at the University of Toronto and have over seven years of experience working in the mental health field providing both individual and group therapy. As a clinician, I’ve worked and trained at large teaching hospitals such as the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (camh), St. Michael’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Health Centre, and the University of Toronto.

I’ve received training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), as well as mindfulness and self-compassion based approaches. As an evidence based practitioner, I regularly participate in ongoing supervision, peer consultation and continued education.

As a trauma informed queer person of colour, my practice is grounded in anti-oppression, anti-racism, sex/kink positive, and harm reduction frameworks.

My approach to therapy is rooted in embodying empathic curiosity, collaboration and non-judgment. I strive to cultivate a safer and supportive space for folks to explore their internal worlds, feel seen and heard. I’m an integrative therapist who draws from internal family systems, emotion focused, relational, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness based frameworks to address various life challenges, help folks achieve their goals, and live more fulfilling lives.

As an occupational therapist, I bring a holistic and strengths-based approach to psychotherapy with the aim of helping clients live meaningful lives. I am passionate supporting people with a variety of issues including:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Relationship issues (e.g., navigating CNM)

  • Identity and self-esteem

  • 2SLGTBQIA+ issues/health

  • Sex and kink
